About

Me!Howdy.

I'm a senior engineer at Palantir.net. I've worked as a web developer since 1999 as part of the technical collective behind Indymedia- perhaps the first web driven multimedia citizen journalism project. I helped start the Eggplant Active Media web application develop coop. I worked as an engineer and partner at CivicActions, and worked NowPublic as a developer.

I'm the maintainer for a number of Drupal modules and have been using Drupal for client projects since 2004. I helped start Black Sheep Books, a non-profit radical and scholarly book store. When I'm not stuck behind a computer I'm probably out riding with Onion River Racing.

You can securely contact me with my GPG key.

This "blog" is mostly technical musings. It has has existed in various forms since 2002, originally on MoveableType, then WordPress, then Drupal, the WordPress, and now finally back at home on Drupal. Though content wise it certinally does not reflect this, it does speak well to data portability when you have a MySQL database.
