Book Tracks

In discussion about developing the BOAF (book of a friend) project, one of the pieces that I really wanted to get going was a notion of "book tracks". Like trackbacks, this would allow web authors and bloggers to ping a url of a book to notify that they are writing about the book. While this doesn't solve the problem of aggregating book data, it it's a small step forward in conceptualizing how data exchange can take place.

We've deployed it for all the books on the Chelsea Green site- check it out.
